Coyote has had a prestigious career in film and television and on stage, becoming one of the most active and in-demand actors of the last 30 years. His long resume includes roles in Outrageous Fortune, Bitter Moon, Erin Brockovich, and the television shows Law & Order and NCIS. And he will always be remembered for his leading role in Steven Spielberg's classic E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, one of the most beloved and successful films of all time. Coyote has also been in high demand as a narrator and announcer. His distinctive voice has been heard in such documentaries as Ken Burns' The National Parks: America's Best Idea, and as host of such events as the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 72nd Academy Awards. He won an Emmy Award for his narration of the The Meiji Revolution episode of the PBS documentary series The Pacific Century.
