Kazunori Maruyama (Composer)
Maruyama has composed and arranged music for thousands of television and radio programs, films, musicals and opera. One of his best known works is the score of the smash hit Japanese television drama series, Churasan first broadcast in 2001 and frequently re-shown due to viewer request. In 2002, he produced a musical that had successful runs in both Japan and China. In addition, he performs as a musician in many CD recordings and concerts, and is a music instructor at Japan's top music school, Tokyo University of the Arts. Most recently he was invited to conduct an orchestra performing his music from The Harimaya Bridge in the main rotunda at Nagoya City Hall.
